About Our Clinic — In Newmarket, Serving Aurora Families

Eagle Family Dentistry is located in Newmarket, a short drive north of Aurora — and a good number of our patients make that trip. They come because their whole family can be seen in one place, by the same two dentists — Dr. Saeed Meshksar and Dr. Meysam Jahanmehr, general dentists licensed in Canada — instead of splitting care between several offices.

Our care covers the full range of everyday and advanced dentistry: preventive checkups and cleanings, children’s dentistry, fillings, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and orthodontic treatment including Invisalign. If you live in Aurora and are looking for a dental home rather than a one-off appointment, we would be glad to meet you. Call (905) 836-6111 to book.

Accepting New Patients

As a family dentist Aurora families can join, we are welcoming new patients from Aurora and the surrounding communities at our Newmarket clinic. Whether your family needs routine checkups, a child’s first dental visits, emergency care for a broken tooth, or a treatment plan involving implants or orthodontics, our team will book the right appointment for you. We also welcome patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and patients covered under refugee dental programs — tell us when you book, and we will help you confirm what applies before your visit.

Proudly Welcoming CDCP Patients

We welcome patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) at our Newmarket clinic, including many who travel in from Aurora. Here is how it works, honestly: your eligibility and your level of coverage are assessed first, and coverage follows the CDCP fee guide, which may not match the clinic’s full fee — so part of a treatment can remain payable by you.

The CDCP covers many routine and restorative services for eligible patients. Cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics are generally not covered, and dental implants are not part of standard CDCP coverage. If you think you may qualify, contact our office before your visit and we will help you confirm what applies in your situation. Official plan details are on Canada.ca: https://www.canada.ca/en/services/benefits/dental/dental-care-plan.html

Smile Gallery

A smile gallery shows what is possible; an assessment shows what is right for you. The cosmetic treatments behind results like these — whitening, veneers, crowns and bridges — are planned tooth by tooth by our general dentists at our Newmarket clinic, after checking the health of your teeth and gums. If you live in Aurora and are considering cosmetic treatment, book a consultation with a family dentist Aurora families already visit for advanced care — we will talk honestly about what each option can achieve for your smile.

Family Dentist Aurora — Questions from Our Patients

Where exactly is Eagle Family Dentistry located?

Our clinic is at 340 Eagle St W, Unit 11, in Newmarket, Ontario (L3Y 7M9) — just north of Aurora. To be completely clear: we do not have an Aurora office. Many of our patients live in Aurora and see us in Newmarket because we can look after their whole family in one place. For directions and contact details, see our contact page, or call (905) 836-6111.

Why do Aurora families choose a dentist in Newmarket?

Usually for three practical reasons: the whole family — children, parents and grandparents — can be seen by the same two dentists in one office; our hours include Saturdays, which suits school and work schedules; and families who move between the two communities can keep one dental home instead of starting over. If those things matter to you, the short drive is worth it. If you need a dentist physically in Aurora, we understand — but we would rather be honest about where we are than pretend otherwise. That is the whole point of a family dentist Aurora families can count on: one dental home for everyone you love.

Are you accepting new patients from Aurora?

Yes — as a family dentist Aurora patients choose for their children as well as themselves, we welcome new patients from Aurora and the surrounding communities, including children and seniors. At a first visit we take your dental and medical history, examine your teeth, gums and bite, take X-rays only if they are needed, and explain what we find before recommending anything. To book, call (905) 836-6111 or use the appointment form on this page.

What are your opening hours?

We are open Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We are closed on Sunday and Monday. If you are booking around school or work in Aurora, Saturday appointments are often the easiest — call ahead, as they fill first.

Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)?

Yes, we welcome CDCP patients at our Newmarket clinic. Your eligibility and level of coverage are assessed first, and coverage follows the CDCP fee guide, which may not match the clinic’s full fee — so part of a treatment can remain payable by you. Cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics are generally not covered, and dental implants are not part of standard CDCP coverage. Contact us before your visit and we will help you confirm what applies to you. More detail is on our CDCP page.

What should I do if I have a dental emergency and live in Aurora?

Call our office at (905) 836-6111 and describe what is happening — severe pain, swelling, a broken or knocked-out tooth, or a lost filling or crown. We will advise you and offer the next
